Brother adikuss looked upon his comrades in the drop pod, waiting for the inevitable thump of landing. It came. Immediately he he hit the realease and grabbed his combi-flamer and sprinted outside into the cavernous black of night. He turned back and saw a member of his squad was already killed by flying shrapnel of an air-burst mortar round. Adikuss jumped into the enemy trench and racked the slide of his combi-flamer and turned to a scared crimson fist auxilia spotter, Adikuss charged upon at the troop with his power bayonet. It struck the man in heart and he coughed up a wad of flegmy blood. Adikuss laughed, he threw the body away and began another charge this time not stopping. He saw another Iron warrior jump into the trench only to be killed by a mortar. "Brethren, stop at nothing!" shouted his sergeant. Then out of the corner of his eye Adikuss saw a handle on the sandy ground. He crouched down and pulled it up careful to move out of the way just in case. He chucked a stun grenade down and jumped down the grenade blew in a blinding flash and deafening boom. He activated the night vision in his helmet and found that he was in a dirty tunnel, with no troops. He decided to journey on.
It went on for a mile and found that it opened into a large chamber with fuel vats and a aedeptus mechanicus insignia on a humongous banner. Automatically he knew what to do, he rigged up an explosive charge and placed on a fuel drum. Instead of detonating it he decided to explore. He found a staircase and climbed up it. It led to a door, he tried to but was surprised at how hard it was. He lifted up his combi-flamer and shot the door with a round of his bolter he shouldered the door and it collapsed he looked up and found he was in a crimson fist artillery command room. "What in the name of grandfather nurgle!"

not bad.....just a helping hand. a chaos drop pod is known as a dreadclaw

Oh yeah, I also read the word bearers omnibus, in which dreadclaws were used extensively.
