Note: Reason there isnt any Warhammer images is that we have non-warhammer clans, plus DM has Eldar and Orks. Banner set 3 is based off our GWRS Adverts, so references the site first, Warhammer second.

So of I read it correctly, these will replace the banners we have now? I don't really like any of them, but more importantly, why bother? The titles below our names and the "stamps" below those are more than enough to show forum hierarchy, in my opinion. Why not save banners for displaying faction allegience and maybe achievements (tournament championships for example).

Titles are set by members so anyone could say they are a master or lord or w/e in those. I'm sorry if you do not like them, however you are welcome to come up with your own design to submit for consideration - as is any member.

Since the current ranks are being merged (Loyalist and Heretic) the only real condition is that they be roughly neutral

Please understand when I said I don't like them it was just a statement of opinion, not a complaint. I get what you said about the titles.

im gonna say number three but keep the black background and change the aquila colours depending on rank....bronze for lower ppl, silver for higher, gold for leaders

for traitorours scm do the same but with the star of chaos

That's really fucking hard for me. But I could change the star from the one I am using to a Uni-colored one then it'd be easy.

I also like the black backround best, although the gray isn't bad. What if instead of changing colors (either the background or the decorations) you change how ornate the decorations are?

Basic Example:

Officer: Double Headed Eagle
XO: Double Headed Eagle with Wreath/Olive Branches (like your second option)
Faction Leader: Double Headed Eagle with Wreath/Olive Branches, with a pair of crossed swords above it.

I know you're looking for something more neutral than the eagle, but I think you should be able to understand what I'm trying to describe.

If you prefer to use a single illustration with background color seperating the ranks (which may be easier for you, which I believe you said is the point)... I'm just not feeling the gold for some reason. But in the interest of NOT being a total nay-sayer, I think option 1 is the most interesting (although it doesn't feel "right"), but option 2 is probably the most neutral, which I think is a big part of what you are trying to achieve.

ideally it shoud go like this

officers: single gold aquila on black background
XO: single gold aquila with power sword and thunder hammer behind it with a black background
Captains/marshals: single gold aquila on black background with power sword and thunder hamer behind it and an iton halo with a skull in it above the aquila

Cannot use Aquillas because they are Loyalist, it has to be neutral. Again Set 3 is based off our advert banners
