Well, finally got Lukas the Trickster, and upon closer examination of Space Wolves rules, it appears I can rock a squad of 3 Heavy Weapons + a Squad Leader

That in mind, I've been getting some of my bits together to make a usable heavy squad. Lukas snapped off his sprue, so I decided to give him an elaborate base

The Heavy bolter marine is truly a work of art..He is made up of bits from a Chaos Havoc, Grey Knight Terminator, a random heavy machine gun that screamed Space Wolf, and whatever else I had.

Hopefully, these boys will turn out nicely

you of seen my old chapter master he had master crafted armour, terminator armour and a in-out accessible dreadnought suit and a tyrrind ripper instead of a left arm after a tragic accident on draxus prime

Here's a progress photo. Still gotta add the wash to bring out the details, but I think Lukas is lookin good...best I can do anyway. The Heavy Bolter marine is next when Lukas is up to my specs

Try using a darker blue so it gives a more icy approach

Lukas and the Lascannon guy are complete. This was the absolute best I could do on Lukas and I'm pretty content with how he turned out

The heavy bolter dude will look fuckin awesome when He's complete

Great job just the blue makes him look like a ultramarine a bit as space wolves were more greyish

Thanks guys..I'm really happy with how Lukas turned out.

@Fallenangels95: The official Space Wolves are actually a distinct blue..and mine are pretty close to that. Ultramarines blue is significantly darker than the Blue I am using...I know as I have a pot of that paint still

And, here's the final figure (and the newly minted Long Fang squad)



Only thing I might do later is paint in his eyes...kinda burnt out, and since he's really close to what I want, I don't want to risk messing him up at the moment

My army is more aimed toward the "modern" look of the Space Wolves than the Horus Heresy, though I did sprinkle in some 13th Company and classic color schemes into the mix

I was inspired this weekend and custom made this Space Marine with a Flamer. He is made up of the bits I had laying around, so in short, no less than 6 different figures. The shoulders and arms I scratch built with putty...decided to make a nod to the Corvis pattern shoulder pads since it fit the 13th company flavor my Blood Claws have (though I painted them in the more contemporary blue of their brethren in the 41st millennium)

While I was at it, I decided to completely redo my Dreadnought that was rocking Inquisition colors, but my wolves need it more than the Grey Knights do at the moment. Redid the power claw and added the shield the the power arm shoulder. I'm proud of how the icon of the Space Wolf on the left side turned out as well. A new paint job later and he is ready to join his brethren
