So I went out and bought this because some of the guys I hang with from here are into it now.
So I've played a few missions, and I feel amazingly expendable. I may as well be walking around covered in gravy.
Also, I survived the Aliens, I survived the acid-spitters, I survived the Face-Huggers, I survived the Matriarch, I survived the Predator... only to be shotgunned to death by a fucking malfunctioning security Android.

Yeah that's about the same feeling I got when I played. PERSONALLY, Aliens are the way to go in my opinion 8l

i was a lil ify about the alien mechanics but then i played the campaign and was surprised wit how well sega did wit the controls, felt natural to run on the ceilings,lol

I had a similar problem, I got to the last part of the final human mission on Nightmare difficulty, and an alin had just popped out and starting beating me to death more than the others had. So I killed it. Then shot it some more. Then stood over it and shot it in the head. Then it exploded, and I died.

I'd suggest playing it on nightmare brotehrs, it really does make you a better player online with that species. At first I was better as an alien (just because I prefered running on walls 
), but then I completed the predator campaign on Nightmare, and for a while, I was unstoppable, but then I stopped playing haha. Same thing happened with the marine, and now im working my way through Alien again
