who do you think is the best authors, im trying to find a author to follow and i dont want to spend a lot of money doing to that is why im asking

Dan Abnett he's pretty much got all the bases covered from marines, titans,guard , inquisition , thunder bolt squadrons the list goes on also Graham McNeil sandy Mitchell and william king are other favourites of mine

I'd be hard pressed to say a favorite. ADV would be on my list, but also Graham McNeil and Simon Brent (though he hasn't written much)

I have a few to recommend: Gav Thorpe (personnel fav, his characters seem real and believable Graham McNeil (Best Astartes writer bar: none. Though he only writes Ultras but its defiantly worth it cause his stories are usually intriguing and fun to follow) I only have one of Aron's books and I enjoyed it, but I dont really much of his material so I cant realy say anything about him. Dan Abnett is a good Guard author and is pretty good at making the action come to life. He incoprates and moderate amount of tactics into his books, but compared to Tom Clancy's its childs play what they do. By the way I'm really into Night Lords (I shit you not I almost quit DA and joiend the NL when I got on this site, but decided againt it as I wanted to be a loyalist) and I'm curious as to what the first book is? I tried finding out on BL, but it wasnt any help.

James Swallow, his character description of Garro, and how everyone aboard the Einstein changes is wonderful. He might not do the best battle scenes, but I like seeing a more human side with the Astartes.
