I've never been a massive Dark Elf fan on any game really. I've used them on Age of Wonders and I prefered the original Elves as they didn't seem to be massive dicks, I did use a Dark Elf on Champions of Norrath and because they were designed to be a more versatile race rather than Wood Elves or Barbarians I wasn't a fan of them and on Blood Bowl I don't like units that are fraile, don't have regeneration and aren't Undead or Chaos... But yeah decided to give Dark Elves a go on Skyrim since I've done basically everything else on the game and I guess it will pass the time... Enjoy

Name - Saigalle

Race - Dunmer (Dark Elf)

Gender - Female

Backstory:

Born within Skyrim Saigalle has never seen her homeland of Morrowind but has taken into study of the Red Mountain which caused many Dunmer to flee from their home to lands which were once if not welcoming but tolerant of foreigners. Nords were once tolerant of the Dunmer but with the banning of Talos worship, Saigalle could understand the hostility the Nords had. It would be someone coming along and saying that the Dunmer cannot worship the Daedra. No one has the right to chose who the Dunmer or anyone else worships, unless it has the possibility of destroying the world or unbalancing it. The Dwemer are said to have had battles with the Dunmer but one of the biggest was in .

Saigalle became amazed with the vast amount of Dunmer history and how the Dunmer had changed over the Eras. Even though the Nords didn't have a large amount of information on the history of the Dunmer people and most of the knowledge Saigalle gained about her people was from those who had left Morrowind after the Red Mountain erupted. Even though Saigalle is young she still prepares for her trip to Morrowind some day but until then Saigalle remains in Skyrim.

The Great War was watched closely by Saigalle even though she was very young, she knew that the Aldemri Dominion would treat the Dunmer people with the respect Mer deserved but they would probably distrust them as Mer have long memories and might still hold a grudge of when the Dunmer ancestors left the Summerset Isle and went off to Morrowind.

Saigalle had thought about siding with the Stormcloaks as it could help improve the Dunmer-Nord relations in the future but harm Dunmer-Alter relations. Even siding with the Empire's forces in Skyrim would harm Dunmer-Alter relations. It would be better for the Dunmer who have suffered so much leaving their homeland and entering Skyrim rather than the Empire who didn't do anything for the people of Morrowind when the Red Mountain erupted again. Skyrim was part of the Empire when they gave support to the Dunmer but it was the High King who supported us not the Emperor of Tamriel.

Saigalle had been exploring around Eastmarch passing by the Darkwater River when she noticed that Ulfric and several of his men were marching. Saigalle decided to stay low. She had been hearing rumours of how the Stormcloaks hated all other races other than Nords. Saigalle didn't believe they all hated foreigners but there were bound to be a few who did hate all other races. No doubt there are some Dunmer who hate all other races. Although as Saigalle was staying low not to draw attention to herself she noticed that the Empire had forces entrapping the Stormcloaks and Saigalle was caught in the trap.

After being captured with the Stormcloaks they were supposed to be taken to Cyrodiil. Saigalle even though was leading to her death she was looking forward to seeing a new land. When they were taken out at Helgen she thought that the Imperials would have assumed that Mer wouldn't be working with rebellious Men but Saigalle was wrong as the Imperial Captain ordered her to go with the rest. This shook her faith in what the Empire had become and made them look just as bad as the Thalmor's Justicar squads who would take anyone they suspected of being allied with their enemy.
