As i mentioned in the other post, and this was discussed lastnight but i have made more sense of it.

In the Sudden Death round, it will be melee only so i.e no pistols just sword against sword or axe or hammer of doom.

It will possibly make the match last longer but maybe slightly more interesting.

The Pistol, particularly the PP can be used to completely demolish ASMs if used correctly. You will get a fairer competition by banning it, however you may wish to restrict it to a single weapon option. While it is possible for another weapon tactic to beat a Chunder Hammer, double tap Y can seriously munt their chances.

I dont wish to ban the PP at all just have melee only in the Sudden Death round, rest of the tournament is fair game other than flash nades of course but i see no use for them, maybe in public but not a tournament game.

You can find many ways around the hammer up close.
