A Professional Modelling company made a run of special models awhile back which are imaged below. They then redid them based off the pictures on the Horus Heresy novel covers, if I can find those I'll post them at a later date.

I just don't get these fools that make minis and make the lions armor painted green. His armor was black, all of it. Dark angels didn't go green until post hersey.

That is information you would need to look up to find. It's not posted everywhere. Just like all of the armor changes from pre-heresy to post heresy are not public knowledge to most people.

Magnus was the most loyal son, that's one of the great tragedies of the Heresy

Cry beat me to the punch. Magnus was the only primarch who trusted the emporor so implicitly he allowed the destruction of his legion, hoping his father would see that he was loyal. To this day, the thousand sons are rarely seen outside the planet of sorcerors

No Gerhart don't go Ultra Smurf on us lmao! His most loyal son was Lorgar until he punished Lorgar for worshiping him. And now he is worshiped, always made me wonder what it would have been like if he would have just let Lorgar start what happened after he was entombed on the golden throne. Lorgar built entire planets that were churches to the Emperor.
