"A pandora's box, almost literally." Sethis commented, rather surprised as to the true origins of many powerful mutagens and the idea of reality itself being something malleable in fact. "The people that get chosen like this, by this substance, they are the ones that have to play in this 'great game' across realities? This..." Sethis trailed off solemnly. He wanted to say unfair, who in their right mind would want to leave home, let alone the reality they knew, at the behest of entities they more than likely don't know or understand.

"Think of it.... Like living life, with the purpose of fighting a war in another."

he waves his hand and the air bewhind him glimmers, a silencer from the americas, he is running through the forest with a drachen blut soldgier.

"For example... This being here is a chosen of a being Named Mel Omar... Or the hunter of the void..... An arbiter of balance.... Soon enough that being will reach out.... And he will be given a choice."


The picture wavers to a picture of Sethis himself.

The snakeboy flinched at seeing himself, not really used to seeing himself, and then what Altur had said sunk in. "....Chosen of who? I mean, for either of us?" He asked. The earlier statement didn't help sway his thoughts on this, he couldn't help but think they're all just pawn pieces on a board being played with by beings they can't understand. What makes him even a candidate to being with? Just being born?

The old man sighs and pinches his nose.

"The god that lays claim on you is Known As Hoiken Mass, The god of dark travels... Of the same pantheon of Mel Ommar..."

he motions at the shdow of krausus and sighs.

Krasus has been Claimed By a god being known as legion ....  A being that lays claim to most of those with the mental touch."

"Dark travels? Why does it have to sound so ominous." Sethis sighed to himself. Maybe he should be grateful, could have been something like crazy axe murder god or something like that. "Also, Mental touch, is that just a nicer way of saying crazy? Swore I heard it used like that before." Sethis asked for clarification. He would be surprise, given his past experiences with Legion so far.

Dark travles inplies your shadoews are not  really shadows of you, you are using your shadow for these travellers to enter the world briefly from their torment. Thewy wear your face, but if you really looked at them, really spoke you would find that they are spirirts that come from different places.

"Oh, mental power, right that makes much more sense." Sethis said, clearing his throat out of embarrassment than because he had too. "...So, the shadow clones, the constructs, they're...all actual real spirits and not just made of my shadow. I never did really look at them...seems rude now that I've think about it, they always just had my silhouette so I never thought about it." He explain, unsure if he was just explaining it or defending himself now. The serpent varghen stepped to give himself some space around him and summoned forth a shadow clone of himself in front of him. This time, he wanted it to stay still so he could actually look for once.

the close appears, but its obvious what the man had said. it has the shape of a humanoid, but its face wavers from his own , to that of a human. The figure smiley wryl and give a small nod, mouthign the word

"Whoa." Sethis breathed, probably one of the few times he would completely drop any academic face or words as a realization about his own powers hit him like a truck now. "Who, are, you?" Sethis said but also mouthed in case the spirit within his...no the, shadow couldn't hear him. It was obvious they understood one another since it used the word 'hello' with him.

The shadow mouths slowly, its form wavering a bit as it speaks.

"I was also a user of this Gift... I died in the elsewheyr..... But Our shared ability keeps my soul alive. Its hard to speak ...But... With concentration i can..."

The shadow moves independently, giving a stilted bow as the elder kronen smiles.

"I'm, I'm sorry it took me so long to find this out, Heath, to anyone else that can hear me." Sethis offered with a slight bow himself, still shocked at something that was apart of life for as long as he could remember now made into something strange to him by this discovery. "Are, are you all alright? As in, just existing. Pain or, I don't know, you're not suffering in there right?" he asked next.

Heath goes quiet , the effort of having tried to speak weighging on him as the elder kronen speaks again.

"think of it like being pulled out of a waiting room...It isnt bad where they are at, just an in between where they sit until needed."

Sethis just sort of nodded to what Altur told him. "Feel like I'm learning more here than I will at the school at this rate." the serpent varghen tried to joke to steady himself. "Gods, their games, other realties, forbidden demons, my shadows once being people, ah hah." Sethis said as he just slumped into an open seat for the moment. "I can see how people can go mad now..."
