Now that the Mod team is active we will be doing a purge of all ranks in forum names very shortly. It's quite clearly stated on the registration page (and now on the rule page, it wasn't there before because it affects only registration)

Faction Leaders need to PM me or Zero a list of their members who hold rank and therefore are supposed to have ranks in their name. Below is the PM the Blood Angels kindly sent us earlier.

Captain/Commander - Me (obvious I know)
Second in Command - Lieutenant Uzzi
Chaplain - Brother Chaplain Davious (I don't think he's currently using his rank on this site)
Sanguinary Priest - Sanguinary Priest Azrael Kade
Librarian - Codicier Valtrius
Veteran Sergeant - Veteran Sergeant Carnarvon

Note how they do not go overboard with the. We will leave members on these lists alone, however we reserve the right to ignore listed members who are obviously gaming the system. An example would be if one Faction returned something stupid like 6+ named people out of their roster of 20.

If you think your name will be affected PM your faction leader, if they think you should hold this rank they will add it to the main PM list. We will automatically delete any PMs from members regarding this issue as "ranks in names" are reserved for official use by factions.
