This is a temporary thread regarding getting Admin help. It needs to be replaced with a formal and simple guide at some point in the future.

 

A few of you have contacted the Admins directly with issues from time to time. Considering I am the community frontman for the admin team that generally means you hassle.. erm... I mean talk to me ^^

The first thing I do is try reproduce the issue in different browsers, we do NOT support Internet Explorer officially so if it works in my other browsers (below is the list I have installed to test with) but it didn't work for your Evil Explorer then download a better browser!

• Chromium (Ubuntu Linux)
• Firefox
• Opera
• Safari
• Mobile Explorer (WP7)
• Opera Mini (WP7)
• Vita Browser

Also if you (or someone tells you) that a link isn't working, for example a refferal link for registration, then check it in a different browser that isn't logged in on your account. If it works for you then they have a hardware or software issue on their end and we cannot fix those.

Now that said, we are more than happy to help out, but please check the issue in another browser first if there is even the slightest possibility that's the cause. Will save everyone a lot of time considering we are scattered across timezones and PMs can go unanswered for hours.

Now that bugs are out the way, I will add a sub-note on Moderation. With the official Mod Team formed, the Admins are no longer considered Moderators. If you have an issue with forum Moderation rules, a Moderation action, or a Moderator in general please contact Zero.

 

Nox is the guy in charge of Roleplaying on the forums now so if you have queries or issues about that contact him first, then me.

 

Nox and Zero have been granted these roles out of trust and the knowledge they will use them to better the sections of the community they have been entrusted with. I will not overrule them lightly, neither will the other Admins, and only after lengthy consideration of all viewpoints. If you have a serious grievance then please contact us asap, but keep it civil (polite) and provide all the information we need to understand what has gone on. Remember as we don't get involved with those departments much we didn't cause the issue you are annoyed with!
