That its about Chaos and the Imperium fighting over a valueable planet that has recently emerged from the warp. I think thats it, its usually the cliche with storys, warp storms this, warp storms that.

Gameplay is guessed to be somthing like WoW or Mass Effect.

with this changing from MMO to a standard game no new information has been released yet. I would wait until this years E3 then maybe we will know more.

I spent some time last week trying to find out everything I could about what was happening with this game but apart from the recent announcement that they've dropped the mmo part, they're keeping very tight-lipped about the whole project

since they dropped the MMO i think if this game dosent make Xbox or PS3 then it will deffinatly flop and put THQ where it needs to be... the trash

If it was to be on the consoles I bet they would have to change a lot of combat and gameplay elements that are currently in the game.

The more warhammer games flop the less likely GW are to make more..

Fire warrior, battle for atluma, warhammer online, squad command, blood bowl, battlemarch, DoW2 - all these games underperformed to some extent, or failed spectacularly

I pray they don't fuck it up because so many hopes ride on it.

The console port is almost a given in my books. THQ never actually denied the possibility of the original MMO game being ported over to the consoles. There were some pretty strong rumours running around at one time but of course, they were just rumours.

Porting PC to Xbox is actually rather simple code-wise. Considering it would double their market it's a wise choice. PS3 might not happen though as it's quite complex, however I hope they do. More players, more incentive to expand
