I am just wondering what do people think is the best Dynasty Warriors as I feel like getting another one as Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires is starting to bore me.

I am thinking about Dynasty Warriors 8 as that is released around July so I could get that easily for my Birthday.

I am asking if they get progressively worse as I found Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires to be worse than 4 or 3. I just found they had more replay and interest as I can play Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires is just press X a lot and then when a proper enemy appears (High level Officer) press Y a couple of times.

Repeat that and you win the battle. Sometimes you do get beaten a little bit but with a Recovery power you get health back and kill everyone again.

Is Dynasty Warriors 7 or 8 better?
Dynasty Warriors 8 is released in the UK on 12th July.

From the covers I think 7 is better just because it has Ma Chao with a spear instead of a sword from Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires. But then again Zhao Yun always is a favourite as he fucks up everything =D

Anyway here are the trailers.

They all seem to really blend together but I want to say DW2,3,4 were probably my favorites and if you still have a PS2 I would recommend getting Dynasty Tactics or Dynasty Tactics 2 as those were my favorite games in the series.

Check out the app called Verge I Created: http://goo.gl/OFW1yl. It's only for android now, but will be out for iPhone in the near future!

It essentially allows you to share your location with your friends, family, coworkers, etc through a group in the app. You can find everyone in your group's location by pressing a button (assuming they respond to the request), and plot it on a map. From there you are given a point that is equidistant from everyone. With this you can find a place to search for and meet up and send this location to everyone in your group telling them thats where you want to meet. There's no need to enter any addresses, and all you need to do is click a few buttons.

Well I first played Dynasty Warriors 3 through a demo on the PS2 and loved it.

Was only like 10 minutes on the Naman level.

I did actually complete it once. You could only you Zheng Ji, Hung Gui or Zhao Yun.

I then bought it and played it so much =D

I Think I played a little bit of 4 but cannot remember it.

There was a Dynasty Warriors game for the PSP that my brother had. I played that but wasn't allow after I lost a bunch of Generals when Lu Bu appeared out of no where and killed me.

I played Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires and I thought that was awesome. Gave a whole new way to play. Was enjoyable.

Main reason I got Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires was because of 5.

If no one has played Dynasty Warriors 7 then I think I should just search the internet for some reviews =P

Thanks for the advice people =)

I was able to play Dynasty Warriors 3 blind stinking drunk, and thoroughly enjoy my 2000 plus kills... I never honestly figured out what I was supposed to do in later versions, trying to make alliances and whatnot. I'd probably have enjoyed them a WHOLE lot more if I did.

If you still have a PS2 (or backwards compatible PS3), you should really check out Dynasty Tactics if you liked Dynasty Warriors Empires. It has that same map view with you picking an empire and leading them to glory. However, it trades the hack and slash game play for a very tactical game akin to final fantasy tactics or Stratego. I found it to be incredibly fun still, and setting up combos and alike to devastating effect makes it incredibly awesome.

I just watched that video and remembered how much depth this game had as well. Equipping officers with items, sending officers to go recruit their friends in different cities, multiple endings per empire, etc. Watching this video makes me want to go buy a PS2 again and replay this game.

Looks pretty good but I haven't had a PS2 for years. No idea where to really get one.

If I did get a PS2 I would just live on Spartan Total Warrior. I have Spartan Total Warrior for Xbox but isn't backward compatible on Xbox 360! >=(
