So I was bored and figured I would make a small short story dubbed. The Alien that got away. Hope you enjoy it. I'm not the writing type but I figured meh why not.hopefully you can visualize what I wrote.

Sitting at his desk, Johnathan Killian stares at his monitors, tracking the last receive messages from various Weyland-Yutani ships in the far reaches of space. Jessica his assistant sits next to him, drinking a cup of coffee, and watching another monitor of Resolute's functions to ensure the safety and security of the occupants that inhabit the station.

Capital Resolute is what some people refer it as the sheer size is one of the biggest research and development space stations in the colonies, and serves as a hub for ship transfers. circling a dead planet, it gets it's fuel and other resources from the planet. Resolute's cylinder shape is about three miles in diameter, with several towers stretching about a mile from the center, where the north and south poles would be. home to over fifty thousand people, the facility is used as a rapid deployment for Weyland-Yutani private military contracts and as a temporary shelter for the United States Colonial Marines, when they are dispatched.

over looking his monitors one last time, he notices a incoming hail coming from the USCSS Pioneer. pressing the "F1" on is keyboard, he hears a burly, deep voice speaking on the other side.

"Space Station Resolute, this is Captian Henry of the USCSS Pioneer, requesting docking permissions." Captain Henry speaks.
Pressing on a button next to a microphone, Johnathan clears his throat.

"Before granting permission, need to know the nature of your cargo, captain." Johnathan asks.

"The usual, various minerals and ores and special cargo for Wey-Yu egg-heads." Henry replies.

"What's the special cargo?" Johnathan asks.

"I can't say, I just know the order came from higher and was told to bring it here. So that is what I am doing." Henry barks.

A short pause, as Johnathan thinks, pressing the button again "Access granted, dock at hanger B-5." Johnathan replies with a hesitant voice.

Moments later USCSS Pioneer lands at it's destination. Several Weyland-Yutani guards and a scientist stand in the hangar awaiting the the Pioneer doors to open. As the Pioneers doors open a small landing bridge detracts and makes contact with the metal surface. quickly walking out several crew members walk off Pioneer followed buy gentleman pushing an anti-gravity cart, with a three by three foot yellow in color, metal box, bearing the markings of Weyland-Yutani symbol on it's side, red and green lights flash on top of the box.

the scientist quickly walks to the cart, and takes from the gentleman, looking down on top of it he can see something is inside it, not knowing what it is, he smiles, pushing the cart with guards quickly falling in behind him.
moments later the scientist gets back to his lab, telling the guards to leave he looks at his prize. before typing in a code on the keypad on top of the box he walks over his desk, pulls out the chair and sits down. tapping on his keyboard the screen flickers to life.

Message: received package from USCSS Pioneer. Containment is green. Package has no damage. Awaiting orders. pressing enter his message is sent. End Message

Getting up from his desk he walks back over to the cart. grabbing it he pushes it into a darkened room. lights hum to life as he enters. the room is bare, with a bed close to the wall, a toilet in a corner and a table in the other. he pushes the cart roughly in the middle, and turns off the anti-gravity. the cart powers down and makes a dull thud as it roughly hits the surface. over looking the room, to makes sure there is no dark corners or vents, he walks back over to the door, and the door opens and closes behind him.

Several minutes pass as the scientist goes back to his desk, and waits for a return message. fixing him some coffee and snacking on some potatoe chips. he leans back looking at his screen. a moment later a message comes across his screen.

Message: Continue as plan. Hadley's Hope mission loss. find subject and continue. Report back with notes on test subject. Once subject is deceased contain other subject.. Ship to Station Orsis. If parameters are breached. proceed to central control send out a S.O.S. and shutdown the station. nobody escapes. End Message.

feeling a small sense of dread he shakes it off, looking down at his desk he presses a button near a microphone. the intercom springs to life as his voice echoes throughout the station "Will Doctor Beverly Wilscot please report to Science lab C1 office please.Doctor Beverly Wilscot please report to Science lab C1." David says over the intercom.

Sitting there he starts typing initial notes on his computer when moments later he hears the door open to his office. pushing himself away from his desk he sees his subject walk in. standing roughly five feet and seven inches. Beverly Wilscot is beautiful to look at. long red hair pulled back in a pony tail. her black rimmed glasses compliment her blue eyes. her skin almost resembles her lab coat. wearing a dress underneath her coat, her heels make a sharp sounds as she walks over to David.

"You needed to see me?" She asks.

looking her up and down David smiles "Yes, I have something to show you!" he says excitedly "It's over here in this room." he gets up and gently grabs her by the arm to pull her over to the next room. the door opens up as the harmless box sits in the middle.

"What's in there?" she asks as she points at the box.

"That is the special package we received today." David replies.

"Do we have a subject?" as she looks at him and back at the box. slowly taking steps to be behind her "Yes I do." he replies. before she could finish her sentence, his fist connects with the back of her head, dazing her, she falls to the ground, wrapping his hands around her neck she chokes her just enough to make her pass out.

His heart races as he wipes the sweat from his forehead, he gets to work quickly. dragging her body over to the bed, he struggles as he tries to place her limp body on the bed. binding her hands and feet, he rips off her clothes exposing her naked body. "I'm sorry." he says as he briefly touches her body. he quickly walks outside grabs a capsule and places it in his pocket.he then walks over to a control panel that operates the room where Beverly's body lies. pressing some buttons a machine comes down roughly a few inches from her body, and green light comes on as a scanner scans her body.
"Looking good. no sign of pregnancy or anything." he replies. pressing a button the scanner slowly goes back up.

walking into the room, he walks over to Beverly. reaching into his pocket he pulls out the capsule, he bends it until he hears a snap. places it under her nose and walks over to the yellow metal box in the center of the room. working fast he types in a few numbers on the keypad. he hastily walks out as the doors shuts behind him. he goes back over to the control panel types on the keypad. the door leading to Beverly's room seals. looking up anxiously he peers as the metal box top and sides open up, revealing something that looks oval shape, like an over grown chicken egg but organic, the various dull colors of green seem to hide something sinister beneath its surface.

He looks back over to Beverly's body her head shakes as she coughs. trying to move she notices and feels her hands and feet are bound, she shakes her head as she coughs more violently and the capsule that was under her nose falls off onto the ground.

"David!" she screams "GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" she yells in a demanding voice.

"I'm sorry Beverly, but we need this to help understand the species more." David replies.

"DAVID! HELP ME! PLEASE!" she yells as tears start to stream down her face.

"PLEASE DAVID!" she yells again.

As she yells the egg top opens up, a saliva substance clings to all four curved corners. Beverly and David both look at the egg as a flat eight-legged creature comes crawling out of it. resembling a spider but with a foot long tail, and slowly makes its way over to Beverly's bed, she screams louder as the creature crawls from her feet. Beverly panics as she screams David's name. the creature continues to crawl as she shakes her body in hopes it will fall, she screams louder as it jumps on her face, and wraps its tail around her neck. her screams subsides.

Message: Impregnation success. creature laid parasite egg inside host. a few hours later the creature removed itself from subjects face, and died. subject woke up not recalling what happen, two hours later, the parasite that was inside her exited her chest cavity in a violent manner. End Message

Message:Notes reveal the time after impregnation vary, like the findings on LV-426. xenomorph is still contained in the room with the deceased. will report tomorrow with more notes. End Message.

Message: Creature has grown substantial various skin shedding can be seen throughout the room, the creature appears to be humanoid, roughly taller then a human, its head is a elongated, about a foot back. nothing resembling eyes or ears noted. it has a a mouth and constantly drips saliva, its skin is black in color, and resembling something like a bio-mechanical. It hisses a lot at the window. the second mouth that was discovered shot from behind the primary mouth, in hope to penetrate the glass. Will send follow up response tomorrow with more notes. End Message

Message: Station Resolute requesting immediate assistance for PMC and/or USCM. Unknown species is loose on Resolute. End Message.

Message: Request. Denied. End Message

Seriously though, while a bit rough around the.edges, you deftly captured the spirit of aliens, and the tyrannical world of Weyland and it's unwavering compulsion for the bottom line and procuring the xenomorphs...
As a writer, and a fan I rather enjoyed it, if you ever feel the urge again, I'd be more than willing to collaborate.

Again sorry if this isn't up to par, but hope you get the meaning behind it.
(Part 2) Introducing the Colonial Marines.

"What are we going to do? Station Resolute hasn't reported in?" a bald-headed man says.
Sitting at the table an older man looks at five other people. four males and four females sit at a table designed to hold fifteen people. each one dressed for business, over looking at reports from LV-426, the Sephora, the Sulaco and Station Resolute.

"We let lose one of those things on Resolute, and compromised the station and the minerals on the station, god knows how many metric tons is stored." another man asks.

"We could send a team on there to jettison the holding areas." a dark haired woman asks "But we'll have to send a team on the station to do it."

"Is it possible to jettison the cargo?" a different man asks.

"Yes it is, each cargo hold has a program to travel to the nearest station." A dark haired woman replies.

"What if one of those things get on there or an egg?" A blonde hair woman asks. " we can't have a cargo hold of minerals floating to another station, and repeating what's happening on Resolute, we'll have to start answering questions."

"If there is an egg or an alien on there, will the jettison cargo hold senors be able to detect it. as valuable as on of those would be, the minerals are needed more." the bald headed man asks.

"Yes. the jettison cargo can detect if there is an unknown species, maybe we would get lucky and kill two birds with one stone." the dark haired replies.

"We'll see. Patrick make a formal request to U.S.C.M. tell them a colony went dark, we'll send a team of scientist with them in hopes to recover that cargo, and maybe some people from Resolute." the man from before states.

"You really think anybody is alive on there, after reading these reports, we'll be lucky if one is alive." the blonde haired woman asks.

"Yes or no." the bald headed man states" When you send the word up to the colonial marines, tell them it is a search and rescue, with recovery. we'll assemble a team down here to accompany them."

. . .

Drifting through space the U.S.S. Valiant slowly makes it's way towards its destination. seeing a few battles in it's life, it bares the crest of the United States Colonial Marines on both sides of the ship. home to forty-six personnel sleeping in hibernation. the desolate ship computers start to flash to life, as the ships begins diagnostics readings of the interior.the lights in the hibernation chamber flicker on, as the forty-six personnel lie in sleep. hibernation chambers glass doors open up as the personnel slowly wake up from hypersleep. people mumbling and rubbing there eyes, they look around as the cold metallic floor greets their warm feet.

"I feel like dog shit." A female marine says.

"Same here." a male marines responds to her statement.

"Alright girls, time to wake up we got a lot of work to do before we get to our destination." A mans voice booms.

"When the grogginess wears off, do some form of exercise to ward off the effects of hyper sleep", another voice echoes through out the hypersleep chambers "Don't want your muscles to tighten up."
Claire Palmer wakes up, looking around her dark coal like hair standing straight up, her tan complexion gets chill as her warm skin is touched by the chilled air, her identification tags or "Dog Tags" as many military members call them, are wrapped around her neck.

"You cold Palmer?" A marine asks

"No." she responds.

"Might want to do something with those then. they seem to be standing at the position of attention." the same marine responds.

"I can do something about these but I think there is no hope for what your not packing." Claire responds as she rubs her chest.

"Fuck you!" he responds

"I wouldn't want to degrade myself." Claire responds.

Moments pass as the crew wake up, get dressed and settled in at the mess hall for food. the marines get their food and look at it. "I don't think my dog would even eat this." a marine says looking at it what should resembles mashed potatoes looks more like a clump of coagulated *CENSORED* with chunks.
"Who the hell fixes this." another marine responds.

"Shut up and eat it, where not going to be here long, your guts can handle it." the platoon sergeant responds.
Scientist from Weyland-Yutani grab their food and sit at an opposite table, which they are joined by two warrant officers , the platoon leader and sergeant.

"Morning people." the Lieutenant says.

"Morning." the various table occupants reply.

"Hope you slept well." the Lieutenant responds

"it sucked for the most part but it could have been worse." a scientist replied.

"So what is this mission we are on. who and what is at stake here." the platoon sergeant asks as he starts to eat the food on his tray.

"A simple search and rescue and recovery mission. We got to jettison some cargo holds and hope to find some surviving colonist on the Resolute." A female red hair Scientist says.

"What happen to warrant the Colonial Marines?" the Lieutenant asks.

"We dunno, could be anything really, a frigate full of pirates or a splinter cell anything. whatever happened, it locked down the station, not even remote overrides are working." the female red hair scientist says.

"Ok, will since we are going to be working together, might as well get to know names. I'm First Lieutenant John Bradhsaw, this is Sergeant First Class Frank Bailey." Bradshaw points to Bailey.

"Doctor Chrissy Wilcot." the red hair introduces herself, these are my colleagues "Doctor Jason Drew, David Devin our Research and Development in the warfare, he'll be giving you all new equipment before be land and Robert Newel our computer technician." each member hearing their name said, responds with a wave and a greeting.

"I'm Warrant Officer Joel Artemis and this is Warrant Officer Zach Wise. We'll be your pilots on this journey."
The mess hall is alive with marines, bickering about the food, sharing war stories and telling where each other is from, retelling stories of boot camp and other missions.

"Listen up. finish up eating and meet up in the firing range on deck 3, we got some training and briefings to go before we land." Bradshaw barks

"Yes sir!" the marines reply.

Moments later the marines arrive on deck three. several tables line up with various weapons and gear and smart guns. David takes position behind a table and grabs a rifle.

"At ease marines." Bailey yells

"Before we land I have new gear to give you." David says, holding up a pulse rifle this is the new M41A2 Pulse rifle, it shoots, the standard 10mm caseless explosive rounds, the M315 Incendiary rounds, and the M320 cased explosive tip. The M41A2 pulse rifles has a faster rate of fire roughly a fifty percent increase rate of fire over the M41A1 rifle, nearly one hundred percent increase in accuracy, lighter and the under barrel can hold a close quarter shotgun and a grenade launcher."

"Cased explosive tip." Claire asks questionably.

"Yes, the tip is made from various alloys, designed to expand the bullet on impact, causing more damage to lightly armored targets, and safer on stations like the one we are going to." David responds to her question.

"What is this incendiary round?" A marine asks.

"It is a round that when it exits the muzzle several reactions take place in a short amount of time. once the bullet hits the target it expands, burning the target from the inside. we took the regular 10mm round, and instead of it exploding and causing damage to the station, it'll burn instead, but not hot enough the break the glass or bulk heads or anything." David responds to the marines question.

"Here." David grabs a helmet and holds it up, we implemented smart gun technology to help with aiming and battlefield feed back, via this green laser sight. the device here." Holding up an one inch by two inches, black rimmed and clear glass device. "the old smart gun technology, was bulky and would hinder your sight, now with improvements, the device affixes to your helmet, and rotates up and down, gives you range of your target, identifies friend or foe through these small devices. "holding up a small device roughly about an inch, with a small processor inside.

"We upgraded the motion tracker with new software, to correspond with the friend or foe device here, key personnel has these on their persons, in case something was to happen on the installation. it's lighter and reduced in size to be less bulky while carrying it." David says

"We have improved claymores that don't explode but function like a concussion, the force of it exploding will cripple your insides if not turn them into mush, and effectively bleed on the inside." holding up a claymore. "and yes we left the marking "Front towards enemy" but it has a 180 degree up to six inches away."

"Six inches is cutting it close." Bradshaw says

"Yes it is but it is used more for ambushes then anything else." David responds.
Setting down the Claymore David picks up a small device resembling a fragmentation grenade. "This here is the improved U41 Firebomb. It burns hotter, longer and has chemicals in it that when touched begins to burn, what ever it sticks two." placing the grenade back down.
"Any questions?" David asks.

All the marines looking at each other, some shaking their head. others taking among themselves. looking around "Alright come and grab your equipment. the only thing that won't be going would be the smart gun, do to the close quarters and the threat of a freak breach."
"Grab your gear and meet in the hangar. I need the ships prepped and loaded, full combat load, want as many sentry turrets, and ammo crates we can handle, prepare the A.P.C. to be a command center." Bradshaw says.
Moments pass as the marines grab their body armor and their various weapons, walking out onto the hangar bay, they dress right dress their equipment in a corner, and start to preform various tasks.
"Do you think we need all this firepower for a simple search and rescue." Bradshaw asks Bailey. "See it as a condom sir." Bailey replies "Besides we truly don't know, and if it is pirates or this splinter cell, I would rather be over prepared then under prepared."
Shaking his head Bradshaw "Roger that."

Powerloaders hum to life as missiles get loaded into the drop ships, an A.P.C. drives into the bay of a drop ship, crates get loaded with various ammunition. several hours pass as prepping comes to a close the platoon is standing underneath one drop ship named "Hells gate"
Bradshaw looking at his platoon. "Listen up marines. this is a search and rescue and recovery, we are to look for survivors and recover equipment, and kill anything not a friendly. you're shoulder cameras and radios will send back data, as mission parameters could change at a moments notice be smart and stay safe marine ooh-rah?" he ends his speech.

"OOH-RAH!" the marines reply.

"Doctor Wilcot if you please, tell my marines much information on the installation." Bradshaw says as he walks over to a crate

"Station Resolute is three miles in radius. with one mile of various towers and antennas pertruding from the north and south poles. it houses up to fifty thousand people." Chrissy explains

"Fifty thousand people?!" a marine states

"Yes fifty thousand people, and whom ever locked the station down did a good job of it, since it isn't responding to remote over rides." Chrissy continues to explain. "The station is also a research and development so all the fancy toys you have is probably built and developed there on the station. another reason why we are going."

"How long as the station been quite?" Claire asks

"four weeks." Chrissy asks. "All communications are severed."

"Sounds like this is going to be a bitch of a mission." a marine states.

"It is." Bailey asks as he takes the side of Chrissy. "But we are marines. when something needs to die they call us."

"OOH-RAH" the marines respond.

"When something needs it's ass kicked they call us!" Bailey yells.

"OOH-RAH!" the marines respond.

"WHEN SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED THEY CALL US!" Bailey yells

"OOH-RAH!" the marines yell back

"OOH-RAH MARINES!" Bailey yells back.

Bradshaw stands up and walks over to the group. "Since we have some information, time to explain how we are going to do this. "Hells Gate" you'll transport First and Second squad to the west side. upon landing set up a perimeter defense with the sentry turrets and claymore the best you can encase you have to return back and need to be transported back. Crescent you'll transport the A.P.C. third and Fourth Squad to the east end, will set up a perimeter with the turrets. Bailey you'll accompany third squad and the scientist to central command. rest of the squad do a sweep of the station, do fire unless you are threaten and keep your eyes and ears opened. ooh-rah?" Bradshaw concludes.

"OOH-RAH!" the marines reply.

"Lets load up!" Bailey barks.

Scrambling over to their gear the marines strap on their body armor. over looking each other ensuring each one is strapped in. Claire reaches down and grabs her body armor, her armor is black, with a chest emblem of Mjolnir on the front. her shoulder pads have two ravens in a pose as if they are landing or about to grab something, pulling back her hair in a pony tail, she puts on her helmet, which has a pair of goggles on top and an Ace of Spades on the in the helmet head band. her shoulder light is on her left side, she loads up her service pistol and straps on her tactical shotgun to her back. sliding in a knife on her chest strap, and loading up on six U41 Firebombs. she walks over to her squad who is on the detail to guard the scientist.

The squad leaders do a final inspection of their marines. talking to each one making sure they are ready to disembark and engage the enemy. Claire's squad leader walks up to her, over looking her, checking her body armor. "You ready Palmer?" her squad leader asks. "Ever Ready Staff Sergeant." making his way to the final marine, Lieutenant Bradshaw makes his way in front of the marines "Lets load up grunts!" he says. the marines rush to their designated drop ship.

Several miles away the drops ships depart the Valiant and begin their journey to the Resolute. the size of it increases as they get closer, the bleakness draws dread as they get closer to the hangar bays.
stopping several feet away the blast doors bearing the mark C-1 can be seen clearly. "How are we going to get in the hangar doors won't open." looking back at his co-pilot "Tell the L.T. we can enter until the blast doors open." getting up from his seat, he walks back. "Blast doors won't open." Bradshaw looking at the scientist, Chrissy nods her head, she reaches down, and pulls out a device. she types on the keypad. "I'll use your communications to send a signal and hopefully the doors will open, but we'll have to make our way to central command to over ride the lock down. " the co-pilot returns to the *CENSORED* pit, to see the blast doors, slowly rise up as a whale about to swallow whole a ship. as the drop ship Crescent slowly flies into the darkness, yellow lights flash, as it's flood lights spill onto the darkened floor. the hangar bay doors close and make a dull thud, as the only light seen is from the drop ships flood lights. noises can be heard as air is filtered back into the hangar as Crescents bay door lowers and the A.P.C rolls out, with the marines marching off. their lights flicker on as darkness takes it's hold. and a door leading into Resolute is up two flights of stairs.

"Sometimes standing for what you believe means standing alone. When the limelight grows dim and our heroes fade away, some men still fight silent battles until their final days. Some will be forgotten having no one know their names. But I stand here grateful for the courage that they gave!" Hatebreed: Honor Never Dies, Divinity of Purpose.

Welcoming Party. Enjoy!

Looking around the cargo hold, the hold appears to be big enough to hold four more dropships. the emergency lighting barely showing everything in the hold. "I don't think this would be a good place the turrets" Palmer says as she looks around.

"We need to get to central control ASAP, before they think something is wrong." Palmer's Squad Leader says, "Lets move Marines. "I want a face glued to the motion tracker, seeing if anything but us is moving."

Palmer grabs a turret case while another marine grabs the other turret case. Palmers' squad takes the lead, while the scientists fellow behind them with the last squad falling in suit behind the scientists.

Shoulder lights come on as the marines get closer to the door. "The door is supposed to open up before you get this close." Chrissy says "But I think due to the lock down we got to manually by-pass the door." pointing at the key pad next to the door. Palmer's squad leader slings his weapon over his shoulder, pulls out a small device, opens it up, takes out some cords, he then takes out a flat-head tool, unscrews the screws, pries open the face panel, places couple of the pincers of the cord, on the control panel, and plugs the cord into his device and types on the device. moments later the door slides open.
A few marines quickly move in, one moves right while the other moves left. "CLEAR!" A marine yells. while the other Marines pour in. the emergency lighting barely showing anything. "Wow, these emergency lighting don't do anything." Palmer says. "Palmer." Her squad leader says "Place your turret here, and place the other one one on next to it." pointing down this hallway." He points down the hallway. Opening the case and setting up the legs and dragging out the turret, placing it on the legs. it snaps into place, typing on a keypad, the turret snaps to life.

"Test firing." Palmer yells, as she picks up one of the turrets cases and throws it down the hall. tracking it the both turrets fire off several rounds, and quietly fall silent. "Turrets are hot." She says happily.

"Central control is down here." Chrissy points down the long hall way. "Stay Frosty Marines, don't know who or what will pop out." Palmer's squad leader says. moving down the hall, the Marines move down the hall way, passing the the first first open door way, the group notices a gaping hole in the metallic floor. creeping over to the hole Palmer's squad leader looks down the hole, notices in goes down several floors. "What the fuck did this." A marine asks. "I don't want to know." Another marine replies. "We can gawk at this hole later, we need to get to central control." Chrissy says.

Pressing their back to the wall, and slide pass the hole and continue moving towards down the corridor. twisting and turning and finally reaching central control. by-passing the door the marines move into the large room, several computers and monitors and empty chairs, with a circular device in the middle with a similar device a few feet above it.

"Central Command I believe." Valiant three says.

"Yes it is." Chrissy says. as the rest of the marines move into the room. Chrissy moves to a computer, sitting down she types on the keyboard. "Hopefully there is some juice left." a minute later, Weyland-Yutani symbols flickers on the screen. typing on the keyboard she logs in. "This is going to take a minute." Chrissy says "Got to reactivate the station power, bring up communications and..." a moment pause "There we go." Chrissy explains. computers hum to life, the central device flickers on. "Will I got majority of things working, it seems the lights don't want to work." Chrissy says in frustration.

"What's this device." A Marine says pointing at the device in the middle of the room.

"That is a three dimensional map of the the installation." David says "If you give me a few minutes I can upload our IF/F devices into here so we can track movements." David moves to the control panel and starts typing.
"Hell's Gate, this is Resolute. sorry for the delay had to recycle the power. opening the blast door. be advised there is sentry turrets set up in the corridor leading to Cargo Bay C-1." Chrissy explains.

"Copy that, Hell's gate out." A voice comes over the raido.

"Okay." Chrissy says "Going to see if we can jettison the cargo bays." typing on the keyboard some more. "Well, some can be jettison, but there seems to be a problem with one, on the north side of the station." Chrissy explains.

"What's the problem?' Valiant three asks.

"I don't know, David you finish other there?" Chrissy asks.

"Yeah." David explains. "Going to bring up the map and see what we got." lightning up the station flickers on the circular device, slowly spinning in a clockwise rotation. "zoom in a little." David says "There we go. activating the stations tracking devices, and...what the hell?" confusion in David's voice "We have two separate groups on in the middle of the stations heating and cooling supply room, and another group in a cargo hold, would explain the fail safe."

"Fail Safe." Palmer asks.

"Yes, it's used as a back up, if there is people in the cargo hold, it won't jettison, considering it would be a horrible way to die. the cargo holds have no oxygen or anything once they separate from the station and make a slow travel to the closest station, which is ten light years away, hence this is why this station is used as a "middle man"." David says.

Mean while on the opposite side of the station first and second squad disembark as the A.P.C. rolls out of the dropship cargo hold, and parks parallel to the drop ship. several marines move up to the door, placing sentry turrets to the left of the door, facing down the corridor.

A static transmission comes over their radios. "Radio check to all colonial marines, please respond. Valiant Actual over." the colonial marines reply with their radio checks. "Roger, radio transmissions good, establishing video transmissions." several monitors flicker to life, all showing their location. "Video transmissions are good." Bradshaw says. "What is your situation on the missing colonists. Valiant three." Bradshaw asks.

"Valiant Actual, this is Valiant three, we found two group of colonists, Break." Palmer squad leader says. "They're in a cargo hold and in the central heating and cooling processor. Over."

"Roger Valiant three. Break." Bradshaw thinks. "I'm sending Valiant one to the Heating and Cooling processor and Valiant two to your location, to assist with the other group. over." Bradshaw says.

"Roger, Valiant Actual. third squad is heading out, fourth squad is going to stand by, with the egg heads here in central command." Palmer squad leader says.

"Roger Valiant three, Valiant Actual out." Bradshaw says.

"You heard the man, lets move." first squad leader says as his squad moves out, as second squad follows behind first squad.

"Why don't they have the damn lights working, the emergency lights don't work for shit." a marine says.

"I don't know, I think it gives the station a mad scientist feel." another marine says.
following down the corridor the squad find a sign with directions showing where the central heating and cooling processor is and the cargo holds are located.

"Good luck Marines." first squad leader says as both squads split.

"Too you as well." the second squad leader says.

Twisting and turning and moments later first squad approaches the door leading to the heating and cooling processor.

"Stay frosty marines, we might have civilians or hostiles behind this door, watch your muzzle fire and check your targets." the squad leader says.
Back at central control. "David" fourth squad leader asks. "Is their a way you can tap into the the other squads video feed and so we can see what's happening on these monitors."
"I can, give me a minute, just got to find the signal frequency." David explains while typing on the keyboard "Now just to splice this." still typing "and do this. there we go." various monitors switch over to show the marines locations through out the station.

"Valiant One, Two and Three and Actual. this is Valiant Four I established a video feed on your locations. over."

"This is Valiant one, Roger."

"This is Valiant two, loud and Clear.

"This is Valiant three, Lima Charlie."

"Valiant Actual, roger."

"All Valiants, this is Valiant four, out."
With the Marines and David backs are turned, Chrissy and the rest of the scientist quietly move themselves from the command room and head down a corridor labeled labs.
Staring at the door, first squad leader slowly steps towards the door. the door slides open, revealing various pumps, wires, tubes and pipes. slowly stepping forward a marine pulls out his motion tracker. "Signals clean."
moving with great caution the marines notice the metal surrounding slowing starts to transform, to an unfamiliar surrounding, looking organic, sweat starts to build on the Marines faces. as various radio transmissions between the other squad comes over their radios.

"What in the hell." A marines says, as his shoulder lights looks up and down, the terrain. reaching out and touching it "It's not metal, but it feels like a hardened organic structure." slowly and moving more defensively the marines move further into the room.
"Signal still clean." the marine replies. slowly they move deeper into the processor, the metallic surface disappears as the unknown organic surface becomes more prevalent. looking at his motion tracker a blip flashes up. "I got a target twenty meters ahead." he replies, moving closer, the blips gets bigger and bigger. "More targets but they seem stationary. getting closer a putrid smell infiltrates their noses.

"Jesus, what's that smell." a marine says as his eyes squint, and nose bunches up from the smell. moving closer the smell becomes stronger and over powering. as the move deeper into the facility, they notice a figure in the distance, with their head hanging down, and a oval shape thing at it's feet. rushing up to them, a marine pukes as the smell of death over powers them.

"Jesus Christ!" the squad leader says "You getting this Actual?"

"Yes." Actual replies.

Looking at the body, they notice their ribs are splintered and protruding out with some internal organs hanging out. looking closer at the body, the corpse looks to be embedded into the surroundings and held in place by an unknown substance. "This doesn't look something a "Pirate" would do." looking down at where the corpse feet would be they notice the oval pod looking thing is open and a spider looking thing, about a foot in width and about seven inches in length with nearly a foot long tail, lies on it's back with its feet curled up. sticking his rifle muzzle under a leg he slowly picks it up. "Any idea on what this is actual?"

"No idea Valiant one, Any ideas Valiant four?" looking at David, David shrugs his shoulders and shakes his head "No clue." David responds

"No idea, Valiant one" Valiant four replies.

"Proceed with caution, Actual out." Bradshaw replies.

"Watch your fire and keep your eyes open." Valiant one replies. As they move deeper into the area the stench of death becomes stronger, as they notice more bodies glued to the side and floor, all with a gaping hole in the chests. the heat speeding up the process of decay, several marines vomit as the cesspool is over coming.

"Actual this is Valiant one. I have reason to believe these are some of the missing colonists, dunno how many , due to the motion tracker is nearly white with their transponders."

"Roger Valiant, fall back and return to the A.P.C."

"Roger Actual, Valiant one out." looking back at his marines, lets go, hopefully third squad has better luck then us. Jones, switch your motion tracker to track movement. no use in tracing since they're all dead."

"Roger but we should look probably we might have one alive possibly." Jones replies.

"Look around, you tell me." Valiant one replies.

Looking around Jones sees Valiant ones point, shaking his head "Roger." looking around on final time, Valiant one notices an oval shape thing in a corner, approaching it the rest of his squad falls behind him, weapons trained to his sides. shoulder lights look at the mysterious object. they notice movement in the egg as the various shades of green become translucent several lights look penetrate the oval pod thing, as Valiant one gets closer. looking up, the squads lights penetrate the dark and notice more oval shaped things littering the passage.

"Holy fucking shit!" Valiant one says in a loud voice, as a spider like thing leaps from the floor, wraps its tail around his throat and quickly affixes it legs around his head, he falls back, while his hand, pulls on the trigger blindly firing off rounds into the dark. a few rounds, strike some of the eggs, as fluids ooze out of the holes.

"SERGEANT!" Jones yells "GET THIS THING OFF HIS FACE!" several marines kneel down near Valiant ones side, as they try to pry the spider-like-thing feet from his face its tail closes tighter around his neck. "Stop, it's reacting to us." while looking at their incapacitated marine, Jones' motion tracker starts to make a sound. as various hisses and movement echo out.

"GET OUT OF THERE!" Bradshaw yells over the radio.

Reaching for his motion tracker he looks down at it. his eyes widened as the cardinal directions starts spinning violently. "WE'RE SURROUNDED!" He yells as he grabs his rifle and starts firing off rounds. the other marines start firing off rounds as well. "FALL BACK!" Jones yells, one marine starts to run off but is stopped quickly as a tail rips out his pelvic area and lifts him off the ground, as he hears a hissing sound, behind him, looking at his unknown assailant, he notices a menacing looking face, the mouth area constantly drips a saliva substance, revealing human like teeth, their is no noticeable facial features, just a elongated dome shaped head. appearing to be human life, the alien is clinging to a side while suspending a marine three feet of the ground with it's tail. showing no signs of anything resembling human, its mouth opens up as it his at the marine, as a second but smaller mouth extends out and slams into the marines head, killing him instantly, his body shakes violently as the last signs of life flee his soulless body. bullets ring out as a few hit the alien. screaming in pain the alien swings it's tail down, with the fallen marine body hits the ground.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" a marine yells.

The Marines start falling back, as the blindly fire in all directions. the walls and ceiling start to move more as more aliens seem to come to life. a few aliens scream as bullets hit them, one falls to the ground as several rounds slam into its dome shaped head, spewing a green substance in a small radius, as it hits some of the exposed parts it hisses and sizzles as it burns through the floor. the marines start to make there way back as one alien jumps down in front of a marine reacting quickly the marine grabs one of their fire bomb grenades, flicks the top off and throws it at the alien. hitting to the side of the alien , the fire bomb explodes to life, covering a five foot radius, the alien screams in agony and explodes spewing acid everywhere, being roughly ten feet away from the alien, acid splashes on the unprotected marine, the marine screams in agony, as the acid eats through his exposed face and armor, he falls to the ground, as smoke rolls off his body as the acid eats its way to his body.

"GODDAMMIT!" A Marine yells. "WE'RE CUT OFF!" as he fire off a few more rounds.

"CHANGING MAG!" A Marine yells.

"GRENADE OUT!" Another Marine yells. as he throws a grenade off into the distance as few aliens scream as the grenade unleashes its fury.

"JUMP THROUGH IT!" A different Marine yells. "WE'RE GETTING OUR FUCKING ASSES KICKED!" as he pulls the trigger, an alien screams as bullets penetrate it's exoskeleton.
Looking where the fire bomb exploded a marine grunts his teeth, he charges towards and jumps while in mid jump an alien, collides with him in mid air, both slamming to the ground, the Marine yells, as fire sticks to his clothes and begins to burn, the alien on top of him hisses, as opens his mouth as bullets slam into its body, screaming in agony, acid pours from its wounds and drip onto the Marine's face and throat, his screams become muffled as the dead alien lifeless corpse fall onto the dead marine, his body shaking violently as the last twitches of life escape his body.

"GODDAMMIT GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE!" Bradshaw yells over the radio "VALIANT THREE, TWO GET TO VALIANT ONE POSITION NOW!"

"ROGER!" Valiant three says.

"Enroute!" Valiant two exclaims.

In the confusion as Marines try to find a way to escape, a Marine gets near a railing where several containers, pipes and tubes expand up and down. getting closer to the railing an alien drops down off to his side and charges him. its dome head crashing into his left side, the alien pushes in and up, tossing the Marine over the side, he falls screaming as the alien jumps on a pipe and scampers down toward the fallen Marine.

With only four Marines alive, they get back to back, bullets firing off, various cries and yells as aliens take damage from the bullets being fired upon. An alien moves quietly along the ceiling, and pounces from the ceiling onto the unsuspecting Marine, the others look at the fallen Marine as it's slashes into the Marine, another alien slams its tail into the neck of another Marine, the last two Marines still firing as two aliens come charging, firing at the aliens, the aliens stopped abruptly as two facehuggers jump from their back and warp themselves around the last two Marines faces.

"VALIANT ONE! VALIANT ONE PLEASE RESPOND! VALIANT ONE!" Bradshaw comes across the radio.

Back at central control Third squad make their way towards the cargo hold were possible survivors are at. as both squads make their way towards the cargo hold, they notice various doors are barricaded, several holes in the ceiling and floors, windows busted out, several corridors are blackened due to the busted emergency lights.

"Something doesn't seem right here." A member of third squad says.

"You're telling me." Valiant three replies.

"Anything on your route Valiant two?" Valiant three says "Negative, just some gaping holes and various barricades."

"Valiant three and two the survivors are in Cargo hold B-1 near the north side of the station." Valiant four voices comes over the radio, as valiant one voices comes over the radio saying his squad is moving deeper into the heating and cooling. moments pass as third squad approaches the door leading into the cargo "B" bays. second squad meet up with them a few minutes later.

Second squad moves in followed by third squad in the rear. they notice a corridor with a sign pointing in the directions of the various cargo holds. "Cargo hold B - 1 through 6 to the left and B-7 through B-12 to the left."

The corridor is big enough to for the marines to stand seven wide if standing shoulder to shoulder. the glass that would be overlooking the emptiness of space, have shutters over them. approaching the door, they get close to the door, but the door doesn't budge. Valiant two slams his hand unto the door. a muffled male voice can be heard on the other side "Hello" the voice says. "Colonial Marines, were here to get you off this station, open up the door." Valiant two says. "N-n-n-no, were safe in here!" the male voice says.

"We need to get you off this station, we can protect you." Valiant three says in protest.

"You can't protect us from those things!" the muffled male voice exclaims back.

"Protect you from what?" Valiant two says.

"Those aliens, they strike without warning, and have some type of acidic blood if you damage them." the male muffled vice says. "How many did accompanied you?"

"A platoon of Colonial Marines and four scientist from Weyland-Yutani!" Valiant three says.

"Go talk to to the scientist, they know what's happening." the muffled voice says.

"Valiant four, this is Valiant two, is the scientist with you?"

"Negative." Valiant four replies only one from the four is with us." Valiant four replies.

"Dammit, find out where they went!" Valiant three replies.

"Roger." Valiant four replies.

Looking at the key pad, they notice it is damaged, with no way to by-pass the the security. "Cut open the door." Valiant two says.

"NO DON'T DO THAT! YOU'LL GET US KILLED!" the muffled male voice says.

"Valiant three, two of the M.I.A Egg heads are in the science labs, about half a mile from your location.

"Roger! Palmer. You, Davis and Miller go see what they are doing." Valiant three says

"Yes Staff Sergeant!" Palmer replies. as various chatter from Valiant one comes over the radio.

Sparks fly and metal melts as a Marine starts to cut open the door. "Almost there!" the Marine says, getting their weapons at the ready position, the door budges open as a Valiant two grabs the door and with all the strength he can muster, attempts to open the door, as his fingers get hit with from the occupants on the other side. "Son-of-a-Bitch!" Valiant two replies. the doors slides open as Valiant three and the other marines rushes in. Pressing his rifle against the closest person, valiant three slams the unknown man against the wall, "What is your problem we're here to help you not kill you." he yells.
"You just killed us you dumb-ass grunt!" the man replies grunting as his chest gets compressed tighter.

Valiant two stands in the door way looking down periodically on both hallways, with his back turned, he rubs his hands as the pain slowly leaves his hands, and just a numbness of the pain is left behind.

Stepping away from the pinned man, Valiant three over looks the cargo hold, roughly twenty people is hold up in the cargo hold. various beds and lamps litter the cargo hold. looking to hold more it appears these are the only survivors left on the station.

"Were is the rest, we were told there was roughly fifty thousand of you."

"Most of us, got killed or captured. While the rest of us sought refuge on the cargo holds, but those got jettison, once the station went into lock down." the man replies.

"What happened here? and why did you barricade yourself in here." Valiant three asks.

"Something escaped from the science labs, and the station went into a lock down roughly thirty or so minutes after it escaped. while we were trying to find it people started disappearing. we sent a request out, but it was denied, until now." the man explains.

"Palmer!" Valiant three says "You close to the science labs?"

"Roger!" she replies.

"Radio me once you make contact with the scientist. Valiant Three out!" Valiant three says, looking back at the crowd of people. looking at him, several people hugging each other. "We'll do our best to protect you, we have two drop ships on the west and east side, we can get you off the ship and unto the U.S.S. Valiant and get you home."

"The scientist here will not want us talking, they probably sending Wey-Yu P.M.C.s here to ensure you don't get off the station and write it off as a station malfunction." A woman's voice in the crowd speaks out.

"She right. your ship is probably already destroyed." the man closest to Valiant three says.

"VALIANT THREE, TWO GET TO VALIANT ONE POSITION NOW!" as Bradshaw voice screams over the radio, as all of them listen to the various screams of the marines and unidentified screams of their attackers ring out.

"ROGER!" Valiant three says.

"Enroute!" Valiant two exclaims.

"Palmer continue on your mission, get to those scientist." Valiant three says.

"I'll leave three of my guys here, get these people to the west side drop ship." Valiant two says.

Three marines nod their head in acknowledgement. "Lets roll!" Valiant two says as him and the rest of the squad make their way towards Valiant one position.
