The following link covers these subjects (all information comes from the books comics and the in game codex) (link at bottom) I did not see a post that includes such sites or is open for this kinda thing so I made one if one exists I would ask that you plz move this over for me. I will continue to edit this with new links that help cover the back story of me 1 and 2 up until now *Warning all spoilers have been blacked out highlight with mouse to read avoid highlighting if you wish to not see spoiler.* (also nothing in this that you cant find out by looking at the main Mass effect 3 homepage)

*The Arrival: Did ‘Arrival’ invalidate the first two games? By extension, was Mass Effect 2 rehashing the first? The implications of ‘Arrival’ are discussed in this section.

*The Prothean Legacy: A comprehensive look into the Prothean’s resistance against the Reapers and the legacy they left for the galaxy.

*The Collectors: How and why were the Collectors created? Were they the ret-con and as irrelevant as many people believed them to be?

*The Cerberus/Alliance Connection: A look into the possibility that Cerberus and the Alliance are actually the same entity. This in particular attempts to investigate a number of supposed inconsistencies with the representation of Cerberus between both games.

*Cerberus and Mass Effect 3: They are indoctrinated, major antagonists, and working for the Reapers. But given what we know of them from the previous games – supposedly looking for ways to combat the Reapers – why have they, and the Illusive Man, suddenly filled this position?

*The Reapers: What are their motivations? What do they seek to achieve by perpetually repeating the same cycle of extinction every 50,000 years? How can they be defeated? These questions and more are investigated.

*Miscellaneous: Any other contentious points I’d like to comment on; like thermal clips, and interesting Chekov's Gun moments.
