You quickly get surrounded the undead press in from the station.

Other rangers slam the grate closed and you hear gunfire take the night

Adam stops catching his breath " god dam it what the hell is going on" he shouts out

More gunfire reaches your ears as carter, the ranger captain runs out to you.

" these things just came out of the night..... We've been getting reports like this all week..... We kinda shrugged them off as stoners babbling."

"no they're real captain just dead and hungry for flesh the forests crawling with them we need to evac asap or they'll overwhelm us and we'll become like them or worse just become lunch" adam says pointing his gun towards the gate

The captain looks at you, his face as white a a sheet.

" there's no evac scheduled ... For at least a week Adam... The only vehicle capable of saving us is.... In the harbor and that is through those damn things

Adam quickly looks around the yard and station for anything that will be of help "captain we have to get out of here even if it means fighting our way out!" he shouts while looking.

You find the barracks, they are locked tight but through the windows you can see a plethora of rifles and ammo.

You hear the rangers taking hold of te situation, taking places on the wall .

"captain can we get this open we can fight and hopefully survive till evacuation"

" hurry up and crack that open and see f there is anything worth having."

The lock blows out and you did that the armory is still stocked.

Any ranger not fight quickly runs in and arms and you find a neat stack of body army and legplates

adam runs in and puts on the body armour and leg plates adjusting the straps so they fit tight and dont slip around. After doing that he looks around for a small side arm and more ammo for his rifle.

The armory is quickly exhausted an the rangers begin pushi g back the undead with precise shots.

Soon nothing moves and the commander growls,

" fuck ... We need to get out before more are drawn here."

Adam secure the gear he has "right sir i suggest we run like all hell is chasing us and get to the the harbour and get the hell out of dodge and back to civilization if it still exists"

The Rogers finish suiting as the watches on the gate come down.


" fine Adam... You take point we move as one..... No one breaks form unless we have to run understood?"

The men nod and firm up at the grate smirking

Adam swallows hard and takes a deep breath before readying his rifle opening the gate he slowly moves out in the direction of the harbour rifle panning around for targets moving with the men following the path through the woods

The woods are dark and quiet. Nothing moves in the pitch dark as you come upon the harbor and the vehicle depot.
