"Mr candos" the bloodletter in the dream says "do you know what the warp wants with a wasted soul like yours?" it snarls and stabs you in the chest, the pain of the wound dragging you back into the real world with a jilted scream.

"steady Mr candos, my name is Xebec." A tall, cloaked man looks down at you. You are in a small chamber on what appears to be a standard imperial cruiser. The man speaks again, this time, in your mind

+I know that your dreams haunt you, but the inquisition has need of your expertise. The malleus are too far away and we need someone now, to counter a threat of the utmost importance. What say you?+

[Brother Veranon]

Slowly sitting up and wiping the sweat pouring of my brow, the nightmares have become worse. ++Xebec how did I get here on this..ship? How do you know my name? Last I remeber sir, I was in my...I can't recall actually. Xebec, is their anyway you can explain in person?++
Standing in my room, noticing the cold steel floor on my feet, and the layout of a crewmens quaters.

"I am here" the inquisitor says, for he is the cloaked man standing over you. he watches with slight concern as you rise. "Looks like we pulled you from the penal colony just in time, there were men there who had knocked you out with some form of nerve gas, and were going to kill you. I guess they didn't count on a second psyker entering before they could though."

[Brother Veranon]

I turned around, a slight look of surprise came across my face. "Yes, they didn't like what I did to their "operation" so they did what they did. I thank you for saving me Xebec, I am in your debt." I nod respectfully. I rise and come face to face with him. "So can you explain to me why you saved me, out of all the other psykers?" Waiting for a reply. "Now don't get me wrong I am cery greetful"

[Warmonger]

"I know how grateful you are, it radiates from you" Xebec says and smiles "I chose you because there is a grave threat, and your experience is needed here. There is a demon loose somewhere in the thandros system. A demon-host by all accounts, and the malleus is too far away to act in suitable time. That's where you come in. I need you to track the demon down and banish him, before he corrupts this system irreparably. Thing you have what it takes?"

[Brother Veranon]

Stretching my legs pacing back and forth in the room. "I think I have what it takes Inquisitor. My deamon hunting skills are a little...rusty. Is their any sort of training that I can take to help sharpen my skills before I deploy milord?

[Warmonger]

"We have a training room and an armoury on the lower decks, and I agree that we should spend some time sharpening your skills. Luckily for you we have a week in transit in which we can hone some of them again?" the inquisitor replies
"now please, you must be tired, head down to the canteen and get some food, and then to the barracks deck where some chambers will have been prepared for you. I will speak to you in the morning when we begin the training routine."

[Brother Veranon]

"Aye inquisitor, I shall take your advice. I appriciate the quarters.  
Struting towards the door, I look at the Inquisitor and say" Aye I shall do that Xebec, thank you" I leave the room and start making my way towards the canteen.

[Warmonger]

entering the canteen you notice at once the division between the naval crew and the men and women that the inquisitor has gathered as a retinue. You decide to take a seat with the inquisitors retinue, taking a plate of food to sit near them. A man looks up as you approach

"A fellow psyker eh?" he says, extending his hand "glad to have you aboard son."

[Brother Veranon]

Sitting down besided the crew member, I notice his hand and shake it. I reply to him,Chuckling "yes another psyker." Taking his hand and shaking it. " Call me Candos , you are?" So what's the food like brother?" I ask the unknown man. I make a mental note of the friendlyness of the man. I shall no to watch his back if something happens. ++ Xebec can you explain the division of the crew?++

[Warmonger]

+allow me+ the man next to you replies "My name is Mathias, and like you I am of the gifted. The crew here refuse to believe that we walk this path to quell the darkness and use our gifts only for good. To that end they refuse to speak to use, and we have separate quarters. The next question, take a bite! the food should be most to your liking" he laughs, and pats you on the back in a friendly manner

++ That's something Mathius, it seems the crew might stage a mutiny if you ask me++ picking up my fork, I take a bite of the clump of food in front of me. "Wow this isn't that bad" I say with my mouth half full. Eating more of the wonderful delight infront of me I turn to Mathius" so what do abord the inquisitors ship friend?" I ask him while swallowing the last bit of my food.

[Warmonger]

+do not voice such things, even to the mind tuned as we are. You never know what might be listening!+ "the best food, for those that walk the strangest and hardest of paths." he replies, his tone friendly. "Now as to things that you may do aboard, we have training rooms, kitted with every kind of weapon you could imagine, and a few you couldn't. We have a librarium, reclusiam and chapel as well. Sound good at all?"

[Brother Veranon]

"Yes that sounds wonderful brother, and apologies for telepathy." Standing up reaching for my tray."I think I'm going to browse the crew deck and try to find my bunk." Before leaving the room I turn to Mathius. " I'm going to be in the training room tomorrow morning with the inquisitor, perhaps you'd like to join us, but think on it if you'd like." I take my tray to the droid cleaning them and leave to the deck stairwell.

you descend to the crew deck, and see that there is a specific section, certainly it has been assigned for the members of the inquisitors warband, and it doesn't take you long to find a room which is empty and that you can use.

[Brother Veranon]

After stepping into the room I notice some bags lying on the floor. I think nothing of it because I assume the are mine. Immedietly I take my leave on the bed,quickly falling asleep.

[Warmonger]

you have trouble sleeping, as the rigors of starship travels can play havok with a psykers mind. You wait until the ship cycles back into 'daylight mode' and go to find the training rooms.

When you enter, you slowly breathe out as you take in the scene around you. It is a vast hall with six antechambers leading off - each containing a myriad of weaponry, familiar and exotic both - and in the main hall there is everything from a small ring, to a complete building.

The inquisitor walks over and smiles. "Is there anywhere that you would like to begin then?" he asks "There are many weapons and practice routines to chose from."

[Warmonger]

"Don't be shy," He smiles "I am here to sharpen both your mind and your body for the dark days which are to follow"

He indicates that you may select a weapon from one of the racks
