[Prosperan Son]

Three Weeks. Three Long weeks it has taken for a target to be identified. The target is extremely valuable to the enemy cause, and , if terminated, could end their participation in the Campaign across the Sector even quicker.

On board the Exorcist Grand Cruiser, Unyielding Purity, while within his own private quarters, tending his Exitus Rifle, The wall mounted Vox-Caster went off, the Admiral requiring the Assassin's presence on the Strategium Deck.

Ugh, the first time i get to work on my rifle in weeks and i get called to bridge..."

Azek sets down his rifle with regret and picks up his power sword slinging it across his back, he puts his helmet on, throws on his cloak. Azek takes one last look around his room then heads to the door chiming the release and heads up to the bridge.

The journey has been rough for Azek, along with everyone else on the ship. The warp storm in the system had caused large ripples of turbulence in the entire sector, causing several ships to be lost to the Empyrean in entirety. There was worry that they would have been lost as well, but luckily the navigators had pulled through for them.

Azek makes his way to where he was summoned pausing to look out a window into the dark of space smiling to him self
"see knew i would make it in one peice"
Azek turned and opened the door to the Strategium Deck walking in he spread his arms above his head
"alright people who do i need to kill? i wish for the fun to start"

"Try to act serious Azek, you were trained to be a disciplined killer." A voice spoke out from behind the Vindicaire. Leaning back against the wall next to the door, was a tall inquisitor clothed in a mixture of carapace and power armor. A stylised and sickly green I pendant was clipped to his right shoulder, showing his allegiance to the Ordo Xenos." I am Inquisitor Pech. Kuz'ran Pech. And I will be your handler for the next few operations."

"ehhh being serious is over rated Inquisitor, but being a killer is not" Azek walked fully into the room looking around.
"so Inquisitor you called me from working on my gun and i hope that you called me for a good reason, so might i ask what it is ive been called for?"

"Something I'm sure we'll disagree on more in the future. However, I do appreciate your straight-forward attitude." Pech stated, walking over to the hololithe. Tapping at a pad, he pulled up the Planet Dionosis, classified as Brutea 3, hundreds of red and green dots hovering over every side of the planet, and on numerous locations on it as well.

"yes im sure we'll disagree on it later now show me what im killing, i feel if my rifle could feel hunger that this kill would help make it go away no?" Azek watch the red and green dots float threw the air "ohh and nobody told me what or who it is im killing mind telling me now?"

"Yes Yes, You've already made your eagerness to learn apparent." Pech pointed out in annoyance, tapping another key to bring up the Lexicon for Tau, along with a symbol of one of their Farsight Commanders. "This is your mark,Azek. Their Commander known as Crimsondawn, is a prime target. If we take him out, then it will be a major blow to their morale and make this conflict all the easier to deal with."

ahhh a Tau, didnt know they were in this sector..." Azek copied down the information into his suits Mission logs. Azek turned back to Pech "So is there anymore information that I'll be needing or shall i be on my way? Tau dont kill them selfs mr inquisitor"

"It'll all be in this data slate." Pech answered, holding out a small card sized memory chip for the Vindicaire. " Do not stray from the path Azek, this will possibly be one of the most important missions in your life time."

Azek took the key with a grin under his mask
"well if thats the case Inquisitor i'll make sure to bring his head back for you, unless there is anything else i will make my way to the planets surface and begin my hunt"
Azek turned and started to make his way back to the door.

"And Azek, if you fail to kill him, don't bother trying to comeback." The Inquisitor stated with an all to serious tone, his eyes devoid of any sign of care.

"Haha dont worry i never miss my mark" Azek turned and made his way back to his chambers picking up all of his gear, then turning and making one last check Azek left his room and made his way to his drop ship.

The ship was bustling with life as numerous menials were at work to fulfill the duties the inquisitor and captain had ordered. The launch bay was the busiest of all, ships coming and going between the fleet. There was a large platoon of guardsmen preparing for a drop, a small squad waiting for the assassin.

Azek walked over to the squad waiting for him
"well it seems youll be comming with me to the planet huh? interesting normally i go alone..."
Azek walked over to the drop ship and looked around the inside.

"You are going in alone Vindicaire." The Sergeant of the squad replied, stepping over to meet the assassin face to face." You'll be going in with us to get as close to the action as possible." He continued, resting the barrel of his lascarbine against his shoulder.

"if you say so Sergeant"
Azek walked by him into the ship and took his seat checking his guns and power sword
"so mr. gaurd guy whats this place like where ever your taking me to kill the Tau?"

" Well, if I had to guess it, it's practically like every other forgeworld, everything's built towards industry so there's going to be a lot of firefights and close quarters. Lot of cover available for us and them. Though If I had to give my personal opinion, it's going to be something like hell."

Azek stopped cleaning his gun and looked over to the leader of the Guard
"hell you say? well if you ask me that sounds like fun"
