If you haven't heard them yet, check out The Sword.

Pretty cool retro-metal band. If you're as big a George RR Martin fan as myself, you will love the song "To Take the Black".

I also recommend Freya and Wolves of Winter. You can't seem to go wrong with these guys. I think they should put a bit more volume behind their vocalist, though.

Eh, I like 'em. A lot of their songs remind me of Sabbath. I've never really been into the whole doom metal thing, norwegian metal bands, etc.

Ive seen Soufly live at cambridge, they are epic. Havent seen Cavalera but still like em.

Im more for punk though Streetpunk/ Hardcore but still listern to metal now and again.
