The Gallius Sector, a large region of space within the Segmentum Tempestus , home to a plethora of worlds. A sector of the Milky Way that has never known peace. War is raged on all sides as three system, each vital to both the Gallius Sector and it's neighbors, are contested for by a deluge of races.
In the Brugham System, Orks from the Binary worlds of Brugham V and Maestus attack with never before seen numbers and Unity, A Warboss by the name of Zur'Log Redmawz has entered the system from seemingly nowhere and united the many warring Greenskin Tribes from both planets along with the numerous tribes inhabiting their orbiting moons, under one banner. This unity combined with the Warboss's unusually keen intellect of War may prove to tip the scales of their Gridlock with the Imperial Guard of Brugham I,II, and III ,led by Lord Commander Nirtile Nairai, a man who has fought Greenskins in the system for over four decades.Unknown to both Greenskins and Imperial Guard, a splinter group of a Tyranid Hive Fleet moves ahead of it's main force, scouting for worlds so that the main fleet may harness their biomass to feed the ever growing hive mind, Even now the Great Devourer's Bioships head towards the System from the Soutern Rim
Should the Brugham System, a system valued for it's output of Minerals,Munitions, Vehicles, and Weaponry , fall, the entire sector would lose it's main source of armament, and would collapse.
The Trandasin System faces dire threats of it's own. From the Hive World of New Eden, corruption has emerged, and within weeks consumed the entire planet. Due to the machinations of numerous chaos cults, a warp storm has erupted over the planet, engulfing both it and it's three inhabited moons, Aileta, Loloong, and Gustav. The citizens and military forces of the inhabited worlds have fallen to the taint of Chaos, and their newly found worship has invited daemons of all kind into the system. Even now numerous war bands of chaos space marines and many other renegades move towards the Sector to stake claims of their own. The Black Legion, Alpha Legion, Word Bearers are but three of the larger war bands, with a multitude of minor ones following behind.
The sheer power and scale of the Warp Storm itself has awoken a much more ancient evil on the sands of Trandasin IV, located near the edge of the system. The uninhabited dead world has now proven to be a Tomb World, inhabited by thousands of constructs of the undying Necron. Awoken from their slumber, they now march on from the planet, preparing to reclaim the Worlds of the Gallius Sector which they believe to theirs by claim. Their mere presence attracts the nearby Eldar of the Biel-Tan Craft World. The Biel-Tan rush to the Sector to meet their Ancient Foe and strike them down with the wrath of their Bloody Handed God before they can fully mobilize, less they become unstoppable Aiding the Biel-Tan are several minor task force from the other craft worlds, all of whom were forewarned of the undead threat. The Inquisitorial Force in the System , now aware of the Necron's presence have requested the aid of the Astartes.
On three front's the System of Brutea is tormented. Near the Eastern Fringe of the Sector, the Tau move into the system, with the use of lightning tactics , the Forces of the Greater Good are able to conquer the World of Husar, unable to match the technology of the Tau, the World is quick to surrender, the coward nobility of the World pledging their allegiance to the Greater Good. Fortifying Husar and converting it's population as swiftly as possible, the Tau will use Husar as a beach head for their forces to move in and claim the rest of the System. From Brutea I,II, and III, the Imperial Forces are appalled by the cowardice of Husar and move towards engaging the Xenos. However, both Imperial and Tau factions find their operations hindered by the actions of another race. From the Webway, the Dark Eldar ride forth on their sleek ships of black, aware of the upcoming actions that will be taken within the system, the Eldar's darker kinsmen take the opportunity to raid and plunder, launching dashing hit and run assaults against both factions taking, their goal to take as many slaves, relics, and resources as they can, attacking from seemingly all sides. From the Western Edge another faction advances towards Brutea. A large force of World Eaters moves towards the Sector, consisting of thousands of Khornate Berserkers, daemons, mutants and cultist move in system to spill the blood in the name of their Brutal God. Led by a Khornate Champion simply named Skorge, they attack all who stand before them, throwing themselves at Tau, Dark Eldar, and Imperials, not caring for their losses.
To ensure the safety of the Sector, it's resources, and it's people, the Highlords of Terra will expend a vast number of resources to retain control of the sector. Dozens of Astartes chapters, well known and minor alike move in towards the sector at the beckoning of the High Lords. The Dark Angels, Flesh Eaters, Red Scorpions, and Blood Ravens are some of the more well known chapters to heed the call, two entire crusades of Black Templars even now move in towards the sector. With such a strong presence of both chaos and xeno forces the inquisition sends forth all of it's branches. The Order Xenos has sent forth the Forces of Death Watch, the members of their kill teams more then able to handle the xenos. The Ordo Heritucus has sent forth several Orders of the Adeptus Sororitas, better known as the Sisters of Battle, accompanied by thousands of their Inquistorial Stormtroopers to bolster Imperial Defenses against the Chaos Taint. To combat the Daemonic Presence so prevalent in the system, the Ordo Malleus sends forth a brotherhood of the mysterious Grey Knights Chapter, accompanied not only by the Inquisitions Storm Troopers, but the Red Hunters and Excorcist Astartes in their entirety, both Chapters well known for their close relations to the Inquisition. Many high ranking leaders are bound to be seen amongst the Xeno and Chaos Forces, leading to the Officio Assassinorum to dispatch several agents into the sector to remove them, robbing the enemy forces of moral and leadership.
No matter what enemy they face, the Imperial Forces within the Gallius Sector cannot fail, lest billions of the Emperor's Faithful lose their lives, and Imperium loses a valuable region of Space.
(And so it finally arrives! I have my own sub-section after so long *_* Anyways now that we have the Sub-Section everyone's characters can have their own threads instead of the whole jumbled up mass that was New Eden.)
