Apparently Mozilla made a change to Firefox with version 16.1 that borked the myBB text editors.
There is a myBB patch to fix Mozilla's "bad" but it has to be written into the forum code manually. Hopefully it will be fixed within the next 48 hours.
Until then you can either manually type them, or swap to a not-so-shit-currently browser

Correction: It means you cannot automatically do anything but basic text. You can still manually type the commands out
