so i am writing a story, and i got to the point where weapons were being described and i had a difficult time deciding which is cooler to kill a dude. lasers or bullets?

We dont bomb planets, we dont have the stuff to do that. Pre heresy we just used to cover the planet in drop pods filled with people suffering nightmarish pain and kept alive for as long as possible thrpugh a lot of medical drugs so their screams can continue to be amplified by insane levels through speakers in the drop pod which insures everyone within a mile radius to shat a brick runaway and cry in a corner. That diplomacy Night Lord style.
