Moderator Team Restructure

I have a small announcement about the Moderation Team I would like to make. As Crucias mentioned earlier this month we are in the process of streamlining Staff & Faction ranks. However that is not all, I am also adding two new ranks to the Staff Hierarchy & changing the way (yet again!) that Global Moderators are appointed.
The First new rank is that of Senior Moderator, there job will be to assist me in overseeing the rest of the Mod Team as well as grant or deny appeals.
The next rank is that of Junior Moderator. This rank will serve two separate purposes. First off this rank will serve as the first step to becoming a Full Moderator, all Global Moderator Applicants will be required to first serve as a Junior Moderator for some time before being allowed to join as a Full Moderator. Junior Moderators will be restricted to moderating a specific subforum. (Off-Topic, Space Marine, Etc)
This brings me to their second purpose. This rank will also be granted to all current local moderators of nonfaction areas. This will serve the purpose of giving them a more visible presence as well as the authority to properly enforce the rules in the subforum they are moderating. It will also serve to increase the Moderation Teams presence & authority on the forums without requiring a large expansion of the Global Moderator Team.
Junior Moderators will also have their moderation powers heavily restricted and will have a limit to the amount of warnings they can issue daily.
To help make things clear you will find the New Ranks along with their usergroup banner. The Hierarchy is also colorcoded for your convenience. Finally I'd like to thank fade for creating the new banners!
Head Moderator
Senior Moderator
Global Moderator
Junior / Local Moderator
EDIT by Armoured Priest: Zero has promoted Thugren and me to Senior Moderator positions.

Id' suspect to obtain one of those "precious" shiny objects you'd have to be a key and outstanding member with some sort of notoriety and effort to uphold the 'way of the forums.'
Derp.

Aside from having something useful to contribute, we generally only look for decent human beings (but not perfect, everyone makes mistakes sometimes - what matters is the ability to admit and correct it for the sake of the wider community).
Can't have trolls and douchebags being in positions of control over the workings of the site now can we?

Well, we -could-...but I'm fairly sure no one would enjoy that. Haha. Either way, looks like a good job going so far. The banners look nice and the staff seems to be keeping things nice and smooth. ^^
Wait.. Hold on a second......I never noticed this >
