Gerhart and I are entertaining the idea of playing Exterminatus the TRUE way. Friendly Fire on. Requires a ton more team work, and less spam weapons. Should be interesting.

Thunder Hammer? too easy to kill your team mates with one of those unless you're extremely careful. Rules out Plasma Cannon too really. I figure lots of Weapon Versatility Bolter or Stalker Bolter with Melta Guns, and possibly Lascannons.

True, although I found that our setup for the last arena (2 TH, 2 Tac) worked fairly well, and the two TH Assaults ran together, but far enough apart to maximize our damage. Increase the distance slightly, and I don't think you'd have a problem with accidental friendly-fire kills. The biggest issue I see would be to watch the melta direction and to make sure you don't ground-pound to safety and kill your team-mates.
I think this would only be an issue in the last arena anyway, especially during wave 19, with the 3 capture points.
Of course, this is all for Hab Center. I don't have any experience with Kalkys, so I can't speak to that.

Well we gave Friendly Fire an attempt. Only stopped when the game glitched and did not spawn a capture location on wave 13 trapping us. Only one friendly fire death, and that was Yapay who foolishly brought a Plasma cannon to one level and blasted warhammer guy with it when they had a communication error. Other than that, fairly flawless.
